What's the secret to changing that little light bulb that illuminate's the ignition key? I don't want to force or pull too much that it breake's. Also, what is the best automotive manual to have for the do it yourself guy? Hayse, Chilton etc... What about the official Chrysler 73 service guide. Do I need all of them? :? Thank's for any help, PAT

O.K. I haven't got the 73 Chrysler Auto book yet and I'm still wondering, how to change out that lightbulb. I know it's gotta be easy but, what do I do? Surely, somebody's done this. :? Pat

To change the key light, just pull the metal cylinder off that is covering it. Its a slip on/off thing, so try twisting it back and forth while pulling on it and it should pop right off. After that, the bulb is just like all of the other interior light ones.

I've learned some thing's the hard way, alway's seems to be small thing's like this ,and it's alway's good to get some good advice, especially on a car like this. Thank's again Pat

I've broken more things than I can count on that damned car, and I scratch my head at some of the assembly methods used. Wish I had found this site a little sooner, it could have saved a lot of junkyard searching! Its a good learning experience, though. :D
