Hi,

does anyone know where to buy one of these 'workshop manuals' from which you occasionally see scanned pics from? E.g. I recall seeing pics on where to mount seat belts, wiring diagrams, etc

To see if the subject you are interested in is already on the board or not;

Click on the "search" tab just under where it says "Dodge Challenger Message Board" and enter "workshop manual" as a seach item. Then select "Search for all terms" and press enter.

It should thow up all the info you need.

That's why you buy CD version, feed individual JPEG scanned pages to Omnipage Pro, perform OCR and save it as PDF. Now you can simply open PDF, enter keyword and get list of pages maching.

.. In theory. Actually it's not that simple because at least CD I have is not perfect scan and contains quite a lot errors after OCR. Still better than individual JPEG files. Seems like when they scanned it there was something wrong with scanner. I bought mine couple years ago and seller claimed they were going to re-scan it with another scanner due those errors.

I did same to couple other mopar manuals as well. Those turned up great since I scanned books myself and those were fresh prints without greasy fingerprints.

Thanks guys. Even though it costs more than I would expect, I suppose it's well spent money.
