Any tips on how to replace the instrument panel woodgrain piece? Does the woodgrain just pull off because its held in place with adhesive?

If my memory serves me right the woodgrain on my 1970 Ralley dash is screen printed onto the thin alloy sheet that covers the instrument panel.

You can buy a woodgrain decal to stick over this if the original is scratched.
