The Dodge Challenger Message Board

Here a question for all you SE owners (or knowers): Were all SE cars equipped with A01 Light Group & C15 Seat Belt Group? In that case I have some stuff to do...where does the glove box lamp connect and how? And the trunk lamp? And I have never even SEEN an ashtray lamp!

My SE has got to be the most basic SE from the factory. It did not have the light package installed however all the wires were in place to plug in the optional lights. I was able to get all of the light packages from another car and just plug them in. I even found a headlight delay relay and it only needed one added wire to the fuse box. Mine did not even have the delay light over the switch panel or the ignition lock. Of course the A01 was not on the broadcast sheet either.
Have fun installing lights if you want them....

If the A01 light package is not a standard option for an SE, it will be called out on the fender tag. Not all of the options listed in the little decoding book for the light package are applicable to the challenger.

I agree that both A01 and C15 were optional on SE's. The wires/conectors should be there for those lights. Attached is a copy of my factory window sticker on my R/T SE showing both A01 and C15, as well as their contents. Hope this helps...Dave

My RTSE has this package (partial broadcast sheet no tags) and I have everything except the headlight warning buzzer. Maybe that relay was removed? Where would I look for that relay or buzzer? Anyone know?
