Anyone have a good picture of a Challenger stearing wheel? The spokes and maybe the horn button appear to have been bright blue at one time on mine. I think I can use some bright blue dye on this to bring it back. But I need to know what an original looks like.

I assume you mean the regular type wheel?

Here is mine. But the rim has been painted. It should be a nice woodgrain.

Professionally restored Mopar Dodge Challenger Rim Blow Steering Wheel. The woodgrain has been beautifully restored and all of the original dovetail / finger joints are still visible in the wheel. The spokes retain their original finish and are in excellent condition.

This is a used Mopar rim-blow wheel. The woodgrain has excellent full rich color. The factory original texture as well as the original "fake" dovetail joints are all present.

Question: How do you restore a steering wheel? The part that intrests me is the woodgrained plastic part. Anyone with some bright ideas? :lol2:

There was a guy that used to post on here that started a small business restoring steering wheels. It was quite a process and he did a good job of it.

I have seen some positive comments about The steering wheel guy (Doug Lepak)? Is he as good as they say?

Yes Doug is awesome. Thats all he does. We often email each other and he helps out with my Challenger and info when he can.
Haven't spoken to him in a while. :(
