correct A/C Switch for 70

Which one is the correct A/C control switch for a 70 R/T Rallye gauges? The one on the right is my control switch. It does NOT have the "warmer" and the "arrow". My switch just has "temp" in the middle with "warm" and Cool" on either end. Which one is correct? or are they both correct?

Does anybody know? Thanks

Here is a pic from an ebay ad.
The seller says that the control panel fits ´70-´74 Challengers.
Don´t know if he is right or not though.
Hope this helps.

Nothing but confusion!!!!! I have found a ´70 WSS with a heater control as in the pic below. Maybe they used both of these two different types?

I need that exact same part for my car. If anyone has one let me know.
I have the one with the top right corner angled, but that is not for a ralley cluster.

Thanks

I have been digging through the Illustrated Facts and Feature manuals. I have got the ´70, ´71,´72 and ´74 versions. (I do not think there is any ´73 version around.)

The ´70, ´71 and ´72 versions of the Illustrated Facts and Feature manuals all show a pic of a control panel with the text "WARMER".

The ´74 versions of the Illustrated Facts and Feature manual show a pic of a control panel with the text " COOL TEMP WARM".

I am not sure if we can draw any conclusions from this? If you have the "WARMER"-text panel on your ´70 Challenger, then no-one should be able to accuse you of having the wrong panel. :?

From an ad: 1970 - 1971 E - Body Non Rallye Cuda Challenger Air Conditioning switch assembly. It is correct for 70 - 71 due to the warmer arrow and small rounded chrome slider lever. 1972 - 1974 did not have the arrow and the lever was squared off..

Christer, these last 3 photos are for non-AC cars, did you know? They are standard heater controls, except the blank, which would be the non heater in the "Econo-Pack" models. I have the same heater controls in my non-AC Chal.

Yeah, I know. You can call it a thread hi-jack if you want. I was too lazy to write anything about it. :s022: At least all of them are switch bezels... :s023: (Thanks for reminding me.)
