Arm rests in 72

Postby TheeLord » 06 Jul 2004 1:21

On the rear of my 72 rallye there are two holes for a missing myster piece. I have never seen or read about an optional arm rest in challengers rear quarter panel. I have heard someone say he had them in his, but I've never seen it. Could some one validate if they exist...or not? Pictures would be GREAT....where could i find them if they are real?

Thanks

I have never heard of arm rests in the back either. But I too have two holes in each side on the flat area where you might expect an arm rest.
Mine is a 1970.

I´ve heard that these holes are for some ashtrays.
Don´t know if it´s true. I´ve never seen such a car.

Speaking about holes in the rear door panels, whats the like 2" diameter holes for in the bottom of, they are kind of covered by the seats, or is this just something the previous owner did to my car.

Holes at the bottom

Mine has these as well as every panel I've ever seen. So I imagine they are just fitting holes... maybe so they dont stress and crack as easily. Either way, they are stock
