Has anybody ever bought some interior parts from the Paddock (www.paddockparts.com) ? If so, did you like them. Did it fit well ? I'm asking cause they are a lot cheaper then Year One with a couple of parts. (for example door panels Y.O. 396$, the Paddock 309$) Thanks for your input.

I'd go to Legendary for reproductions....... their reputation is excellent. I saw their product at the Spring Fling here in LA and it looked great. The price is right, too at $315 for the door panels with arm rests and $259 without. www.legendaryautointeriors.com

I have a source that offers much much better prices, with just as good or better reputation as Paddock and Year One, http://www.jimsautoparts.com/doorpanels.htm

Door panels run between $260 to $285 for a pair, depending on the color.

I have tried emailing them to ask questions about products they have listed in their catalog and have yet to receive an answer. It seems to me that if they were interested in making sales they would answer the inquiries sent to the address they give for such questions. How do you deal with them?

Well, maybe they have alot of messages from people asking questions about their porducts. It took Holley about a week to answer an inquiry that I had sent them about one of their products. How long have you been waiting? Perhaps you just need to be a little more patient. Have you tried to phone them instead?:^]

I have waited months for an answer to any of the three emails I've sent - long enough to know there will be no answer forthcoming. Patience? I've got plenty and my questions have not been so urgent that I needed to phone them. They were all about stuff I will be buying later down the road.

This is true, but then they invite questions by email and do not respond to them. They set those conditions, not me. If I really need to deal with them, I'll call.

I have had nothing but headaches with Jims> YO is your best bet. Their return policy can not be beat. They will match any competitors prices. All you have to do is your homework and get competitors prices and tell them when you order. Don't let them tell you that you can only use one vendor pre order. I spoke to the president, Kevin about this and he assured my thet when you order you can use multiple competitors. They used Accuform Plastics as a vendor in the past. Their plastic was junk. I had major problems with trying to get my door panels to fit. They never fit even after cutting them and also drilling the hole for the remote mirror. I contacted YO about this problem and the response was that Accuform is no longer one of their vendors. They are picking up all of my plastic interior ie door panels, kicks.seat backs and rear quarters. They are sending UPS to pick up everything at no expense to me. They are sending me all new interior plastic form another vendor. I have gotten my kick panels and they are very close to the originals. If there is ever a problem you can call Kevin, the president of YO. I assure you he will make things right. We had a 3 way phone conversation with Accuform plastic rep and he was not very nice to them.It was made clear that if they didn't get their crap together he would get another vendor. They did. Their goal is customer satisfaction and was again assured by the pres that they will do whatever is necessary to take care of the customer.I have spoken to him more than once about different things. He will return your call if there is a problem> I guarantee. Also YO seat covers are from Legendary interiors.

There are cost typos in the YO catalog just give the competiors price. Even when you order they will read back the cost per item ordered.Hope this helps

and then YO will charge at least 3 times what the freight should be.

I find their shipping costs to me in the UK no worse than any other company. At least they don't stick an 'overseas order charge' on top like Summit do.

Sorry Ted but that is not true. Their shipping charges are based upon the dollar amount of your purchase just like the others.I am a retired distribution manager and have overseen shipping for years.I know how this works. To top it off there are no restrictions as to the amount of time you have to return product to YO as where there is a 90 day max for Paddock. Others have similar policies too.You can't beat their return policy.

Tranny lines would be shipped UPS oversize. That would make shipping more expensive?

They must have been the stainless steel lines you got Ted because the standard lines are a lot cheaper than that yes?

still doesn't justify the close to 10 bucks to ship a tire presure decal. I now send my $ elsewhere.

You got to do what you think is best for you. I do agree for small stuff like that tire pressuse decal is absured and is best to find some place else with a lesser shipping charge. It is all one big racket dealing with these vendors that is why we all need to do our homework in our spare time to get the best deals for our hard earned $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
