The Dodge Challenger Message Board

Hey everyone i own a 70 challenger and i have noticed that the windows are scratching when they go up and down i looked in the door and it appears that the window guides that have felt on them are all rusted and are missing the felt. Is there anywhere where you can by these new window guides? Thanks matt

I cannot remember seeing them new anywhere. Anyone else know of anyone selling these?

If not then you are going to have to find a car being parted out. That should not be too bad. I do not think these parts are sought after so you should find some half decent ones OK.

I have parted out several e-body doors and of course I save everything, That's why my garage full of goodies (my wife calls it junk). I probably have a few. If you can supply pics of the ones you need I can probably dig some up. I said over 20 years ago " I better keep this, cause you never know when I'll need it!" And that mentality still exists today.

I have been trying to get my hands on a digital camera but i can't seem to get one. the ones i need are on the passenger door on the outter side of the door facing in. I will try to discribe it is about 3 in long pice of steal with two screw holes a the top then on the bottom there is a piece of felt. I am sorry this isn't that discriptive but i will keep trying to get a digital camera.
