photo of brake pedal assembly

I've remounted my brake pedal assembly but it does not make contact with the brake light switch.
??? What am I doing wrong ???

How do you mean? ...........the pedal does'nt reach it or the pedal goes to one side of it?

The brake light switch mount is adjustable. If there is not enough adjustment you must have done something odd when assembling the brake pedal and pushrod.

I just went out and took a couple pictures for you. This is of a power disc brake car with an auto trans. I hope they help.

Thanks for the photos. I think I'm missing the lower linkage that connects the brake pedal to the booster?
I think this pedal is a bit short and won't reach the booster which I did not know would be an issue when I converted from non-power all drums to power disc/ drums.
Any suggestions? Can the linkage be purchased separately or do I need a new pedal? I've been told the proper pedal is "s" shaped?

I found this linkage on Ebay but it's listed for a 71-74 model year. Will this work with my existing pedal?

The pictures I posted were of a 73. I don't know if 70 is different. The picture you posted looks like what is in my car.
