The Dodge Challenger Message Board

I recently purchased a set of used center caps (1970 models), as I am replacing the 1972 Acorn-shaped ones currently on the set of Rallye rims I am getting ready to mount on my car.
Question is- these caps are light argent with the top center part chrome- just like the sides- and the outer rim and underside is chrome as well.
the main body of these looks like it should be argent silver, but also looks as if there is chrome underneath it.
I want to see a real good photo of one of these caps before I take the paint to them, please.
It's all about being correct, you know!

These are replacement caps as sold by Chrysler vintage 2008. If a better (close up) is needed let me know.
