Bumper, fender & suspension heights 1965-76

Postby Alaskan_TA » 03 Mar 2010 2:23

Hey gang,
Questions about this come up all the time & now, thanks to Michael Wolterman, we have the raw data.

The height can change based on vehicle weight, options & optional tire sizes. This data does not list every possible scenario, but it will get you close, make sure you note all the data for your make & model. Pay attention to the handwritten notes also, somewhere along the way someone clarified some of the data like the "showroom weight".

Thanks for scanning these for us Michael!

Great information as usual. I'm going out to check mine right now. Thanks!

Edit: Looks like currently running 3/4" low in front, and 1-1/4" high in back. Just can't shake that 1/4 mile stance. :s002:

Here's mine as purchased in 1976 though.

ya know they all sagged in the rear, sometimes on the showroom floor

i alway thought it crap springs, or perhaps they liked the way the line looked, but in you pic it looks like my bros chally, or my buddies cuda the both were low in the rear or as they say to today "junk in the trunk" :s024:
