Brake Booster rebuild kit for 72 Challenger

I need help finding a supplier for this kit. If you can help I would be grateful.

Without knowing anything about your car, I used the 318 for a lookup. None of these are kits per se though.

Just send your booster out to this guy for a rebuild and replate.

Thank you all for your help. I have a 72 challenger with a 318 . It has been sitting in garage for 15 years. It has been bored .30 over , hotter cam and headers and 4 barrel. If you hear of any one who has a kit let me know. Thank you again

Was looking through a copy of MCG for something else and saw an ad for a guy that does brakes only (brackets, boosters, masters, calipers, conversions) http://www.theramman.com/ Don't know anything about him though

Good Topic, I want to look at a booster seal upgrade also, anyone done one lately?

Thread-jacking a bit here, how would you all go about refurbishing front calipers? Is there a special honing stone set-up, or would it just be better to get a rebuilt. :|

P.S. If that's the same Pentastar guy I dealt with, :s001:

Only $105 for a rebuild. That is cheap, I think. I wonder if the quality of the job is OK?

No, but I also find this topic intresting. I wonder what has happened to all the NOS Brake booster repair kits? Have they been bought by the pro´s (restorers) a long time ago? I have hardly ever seen a brake booster repair kit for sale and I find this fact it a bit odd. Maybe very few NOS repair kits were manufactured from the beginning because they thought that this would be one of the last parts on the car that would brake...Just a theory.. :? :s022:

booster rebuilds are not expensive
i only know 1 person successful with a bendix rebiuld
people won t sell the parts

We have a great mail order place in Australia, you send them your brake parts and they fix them or give advice on what to do, then send them back. There should be plenty of places like that over there, for eg what Burdar recommended, or The Ram Man. As for the Pentastar Parts place - that is in Australia, so it must be a different place? In any case, i try not to deal with them either! ( a few bad stories).

if originality isn't important, I used an new alloy replacement direct bolt on affair. Off ebay for about $100. Body is made in US, plastic reservoir with twin caps made in you know where.

hey steve who do you send your brake parts to ive just used local guys down here theyre not familiar with yanky stuff but the manage
i also try to avoid pentastar parts theyre just to damn pricey & i dont like to use hemi performance either but some times there the only guys with what you need

I just got my Midland Ross(banded style) back from Booster Dewey. They did a great job and had a very fast turn around time.
