What are these wheels please

Postby Goldenblack440 » 11 Sep 2009 1:30

On your car Dave, what are these wheels called? as i have always wanted some. Are they expensive? They look like Mini-Lites or copies that they use on the Nostalgia 70's Racing cars.

Also, i wonder if they are available with a deeper offset than these?

I'm sure you have said what they are somewhere in the 29 pages on this car but it would take a longtime to sift through it again.

Thankyou, steve

They are indeed Minilite. You can order any offset but 15" is as big as they go on diameter.

They have outlets in many countries so seach for one more local to you.

Cost is between £100-£150 per wheel depending on size. Check what size hole you need in the center. I had to take mine back to be cut so they fitted over my big disc brake hubs. You can also order the optional polished outer edge which looks nice and they do a range of colours.

Or how about some old school Revolution Wheels? These ones have been taken off a Superbird clone.

Aah so they are Mini-lites. I saw some on a Corvette once and they had 'Performance' stamped on them so i think some other companies have made similar copies. Price isn't too bad either, i'll look them up.

Thanks for the info. 15" is what i love and the Revolutions...yeah, ok i suppose. Hard to see from that front-on picture. Nice offset and i like the old school simple look. But i would prefer the Dragways or TorqueThrusts to them, or Mini-Lites most of all.
