disk brakes

my dad just gave me a 1970 dodge cahllenger r/t he through away the front drum brakes but we have a 72 road runner can i just pull the hole k member out from it and put it in the challenger or is it differnt or can i change the nuckels out

im no expert but i would expect all parts would interchange except the k frame but if dave or eddie add to this theyll have more idea than me

The K frame won't swap, the rest of it should. I know the upper control arms and spindles will work, but I'm not 100% on the lower control arms.

Yes everything is the same but I am not sure about the K-frame.

OK. I looked it up.
If it is a 1972 B-body K-frame it is the same so will swap over. If it is a 1973 B-body it will not.

Would it be easier to just swap the spindles and rotors/ caliperss over onto the existing K frame? If you pull the whole front end out, you'll have to pull the eng/ trans. Unless you hold it up with a crane i suppose. Big job for a weekend! Hope the parts places are open Sunday.

That is what I would do. Unless I needed the LCAs for sway bar mounts and the whole clip looked in better condition with better bushes etc.

YEs, or unless they intended to replace the existing setup with the unit all fully rebuilt, bushed and painted etc

in rained this weekend so i didnt get it done but neather car has a motor i am geting a 68 383 for the challenger this week but i think i am just goiing to swap the spindles
