Barry, if you find those extractors leak a bit, i find Mani-Seal is good. But to answer the original question - if your car did not have a front sway v=bar (like mine) you will have to get the bolt-on kit. Or else, get some LCA's (Lower Control Arms) from another car that had one. I got mine from Firm Feel Inc in Washington State. Thats when i bought the new sway bar from them as well. Almost 1" i think. You will also need the bars that bridge across the K frame arms for the sway bar main mounts. They sell them too. I think the car should already have these holes drilled for that. Sorry pics arn't better.

You will have to visualise these bars, but you can just see them here

Great thanks guys, luckily mine did have the brackets on the lower arms already even though the fender tag did not list having a sway bar. I did check before buying the kit thou

Then all you need to do is pass the new bar through the K-frame and mount the bushes as shown in the photos.

No problems! You are very lucky...my 71 318 did not have a sway bar OR the LCA brackets. They ticked off the 'important' things like pinstriping, all green interior and Air con and left out the 'unimportant things' like disk brakes, sway bar and 8 3/4 diff !! (sorry, i'm being sarcastic)

at least they gave it a Slapstick.
