Manual to power steering

Postby DanaProsky » 31 Oct 2008 0:33

How hard is it to go from manual to power steering. I can get a new power steering box for 325.00 and a new pump for around 135.00, plus the hoses, etc. Is there anything that is going to be a major problem?

You will need to fit a shorter steering shaft.

Did the same switch and used the original column on my 70. It's been a while but i think the shaft collapses to get the proper length. Check around for that type solution. :)
