The Dodge Challenger Message Board

My 71 R/Ts left ft brake is locked up. The caliper is OK, I assume the problem is with the porportioning valve below the master cylinder. The valve looks new, and all the brakes are OK except the left front. Is bleeding the brakes the answer, or should I look elsewhere.

I would be looking at that caliper and piston again. I doubt it is anything to do with the master cylinder or valve.

It sounds to me as if that caliper has jammed due to corrosion on the pins or water in the fluid corroding inside the piston.
