Correct Space Saver Tire Decal Placement

Postby cv70chall » 23 Jun 2008 14:18

I recently acquired a 14 inch spacesaver rim and practically new tire and had the rim blasted, primed and painted in the OEM semi-gloss black.
I need to know the correct location for the decal that adheres to the rim.
Does anyone have a good photo for a reference?
I want to get thiis right!

Thanks all!!!!!!

:D

Here is a picture of the original from my 70. Not sure if they went in a specific location.

Thanks for the pic.
I've got everything correct, as you have- except I want to make sure the decal is in the right spot.
Seems like you have yet to place yours, too.
I know sometimes, the good folks at Mopar put things in "multiple" spots.
My best guess would be right below the valve stem on the flat part of the rim.

Any other guesses???

Sorry, I'm not sure which decal you mean then. The picture is of the original spare as it came in the car back in 1976 when I bought it. :?
