I'm ready to convert to disc up front, when looking at the different kits online, some want to know if I already have power brakes. The kits come with new booster, master, and portioning valve, so does it really matter what I have now??

The factory power booster and master cylinder is mounted higher on the bulkhead and operated via a bellcrank assembly from the brake pedal.
Manual brakes have the master cylinder mounted a few inches lower and are operated directly from the pedal.
This difference probably effects the kit you get.
