New Master Cylinder Help - Urgent!

I have been trying to trace a problem I have with the front brakes on my Challenger. They are always soft.

Talking it over with Linda we wondered if we had the front brakes being fed by the wrong outlet on the master cylinder.

It is one of those modern alloy Mopar Performance jobs with the plastic reservoir on the top.

Can anyone tell me which outlet feeds the front brakes and which the rear?

I need to get this problem sorted quickly. Today if possible.

The only thing I can think off right now is try it the opposite way; let the one which feeds the rear now feed the front and the one which feeds the front now to the rear. Then look if anything has changed. Sorry, but I can't figure out more then this Dave & Linda. Good luck

Sorry to be asking a stupid question, Dave. But did you bleed the master cylinder before you bled the brake lines? Also, how old are your flex hoses?

Yeah but I will do it again I think. The flex hoses are new.

It could be the master cylinder itself.

I had the brake lines the wrong way around! Turns out the front outlet port on the master cylinder feeds the front brakes. Every other car I ever had worked the other way around.

Another lesson learned.
