First of all. Are you sure you need to re-locate the springs? You can go pretty wide without any alterations at all.
Second. You can go wider than stock with just offset spring hangers. These move the springs in each side by 7/8ths of an inch. Doing this I have fitted 295/50/15 tyres on 10" wide wheels on my car with plenty of room. The only welding required is re-locating the spring pad on the axle.
If you are sure you must re-locate the springs more than that you will need to be good at metalwork and welding. The kits are pretty simple to understand and do if you have these skills. If you are going so wide you need this kit you will probably need to fabricate wheel tubs as well.
