The Dodge Challenger Message Board

I'd like to convert my 70 challenger to power brakes. It's a drum car. Is there anything here I need to know? Can I just buy a booster and put it in?

There is more to it than that. The booster mounts higher up on the bulkhead. There is a bell-crank arrangement under the dash to fit. So the push rod that comes out of the back of the booster is attached to one end of the bell-crank and the brake pedal to the other end.

Your best bet is to find a donor car with all the bits.
