Rear Brake Hose

Anyone know where I can find a new brake hose? The flexible one that ties the line between the body and rear axle. Tried a 71 as that is the only number the parts store had available. The distance from the flair seat to the washer seat is not the same as stock though, so about 4 washers would be needed to even things out. :| BTW the car is a 70 Challenger.

Thanks,

Jon

Thanks Eddie, have you purchased from either one? Definitely different part numbers for the 70 and 71. :|

Jon, I have used fine lines. As a matter of fact I used the complete Stainless lines for both fuel and brake, good stuff. They can also make custom assemblies for your application if one isnt listed. E-mail them or call and let us know what happens. The prices were reasonable as well, and they have excellent customer service, I had to return one section. U.P.S. or someone crushed a portion, but they returned it /and sent a new one no problem.

Go with Fine Lines or Inline Tube. You can't go wrong. I opted for the stainless steel hoses. Excellent quality and safer.

I opted for the Inline brakelines in stainless and they fit well. ( The 3/8" fuel line as well) Need to triple check things though as these are serious components. We'll see if they leak or not. :) :D :P

Just need the flexible line connection at the Axel to complete. Ordered that one from Pentastar and it should be here next week. Then.... I'm going for a drive! :s004:

Excellent Jon! Glad to hear it. Yeah, just check it from time to time. Properly installed it wont leak!
