Front end parts

Postby Caparco » 20 Jun 2007 20:04

For all the Mechanic guys out there.. could you list off the top of your head what i would need for a full front end rebuild? Ball joints.. upper and lower.. etc.. etc.so i can get a parts list and price together. Also isn't there a kit that you can buy that has everything you need in just about every hotrod magazine? is that the way to go?
72 Challenger

Thanks guys

Yep,

www.justsuspension.com

Talk to Bill Kanouse I think is his last name. They sell rubber or black poly graphite in the "packages' or 'kits' you desire, as well as H.D. upgrades like thicker tie rods, chromemoly lower control arm studs with the proper stepped bushings to fit it. Sway bars both front and rear if you wish. Or you can use the SuperStock kit for Drag Racers who want a lite front end,(raises easily for weight transfer), ect ect. also they can supply you with an O.E.M. rubber based kit with all USA made parts like Moog or TRW ect..I used a combo of specialty parts from Just Suspension and Firm Feel,(Dick Ross), those guys used to Road Race MoPars in the Seattle/Wash. area are very knowledgeable. I opted for the 20:1 ratio Manual box for my beast, I almost went 16:1 until Dick Ross talked me out of it.(Track Only, unless you want to eat steroids to use it on the street!) Hope this helps
