I have forgotten the route the brake pipe takes from the engine side of the front frame rail to the outside to mate with the front brake hose.

It does not seem to want to go any way.

Under the frame rail, then it loops up and back down to the bracket. Yours seems too short.

I have thought about going through the access window, but it's impractical.

That was how I remembered it but as you say it seems short.

It must have shrunk in the wash because I have never removed it.

I will have another look. It might just need to be straightened out more as it has been bent about a bit.

Ooops.

I looked under the car to see why the brake line will not reach.

The reason is that it is the line going to the rear brake.

Well in my defence it has been 3 years sice I took the thing apart.
