Correct Steering Wheel for 1973 Rallye

Postby bradburm » 12 Apr 2006 20:52

Can anyone enlighten me as to the correct steering wheel that was original equipment on a 1973 Rallye 340? Is it the woodgrain steering wheel or the black rubber?

Thanks

Original is the same as all 72-74, the black plastic two-spoke wheel.

I don't know whether there were any available option wheels, but a friend of mine has a 73 'cuda with that wheel. So if it was standard for a 'cuda, it was most probably the same for a Rallye Chally.

Dave's page might give more info :

So I'd say only the two-spoke was available and no optional wheels.

I think it was this wheel only. All models. 1972-74.
