baer brake systems, a few questions.

Postby Timbo » 07 Oct 2005 18:43

after reading many many items on the different baer brake systems, i am still confused on which systems will work and which won't(as for OE drum or disc). the 73' has OE disc, but certain catalogs only offer the 13" rotor package, which is not an option.

I was trying to find the best brake system for a good price, without compromising 15" rims. Baer's sport package comes with 12" rotors and as advertised by Year One, it will fit MOST 15" rims.........now on Baer's website it says 16" only........

im not sure what we need. Nothing massive, but better than stock for sure. I was looking for more of an 11" rotor setup that fits OE disc spindles, not drum. Any suggestions or recommendations?

i've read throught that before, so what i get is that it's better to use the stock mopar braking systems rather than an aftermarket? especially cost wise it makes sense.

Not better. But not worse either.

Most of the big disc/Viper disc conversions use the drum brake spindle so that can be really usefull.
