Does anyone know how to remove the struts and torsion bars? Almost to the end of tear down except for suspension, but after removing nuts from struts and bars: all four part seem stuck :? Thanks for any help...Keith

Torsion bars are removed from the back (where it goes through the chassis crossmember). There is a clip that must be removed, and then you must pull the torsion bar through the back (there are tools for this, that you can screw onto the bar and hit with a hammer) If the bar was not properly greased, you'll need lots of WD40 and a big hammer.

First go to the back of the trans crossmember. Look at the rear of the torsion bars. Remove the circlip holding them in.

Then remove the height adjusting screws from the lower control arms and put the nut back onto both LCA pivot.

Now using a torsion bar removal tool (make one) knock the torsion bar rearwards out of the crossmember and the LCA.

Once removed you can now take off the two LCA pivot bolts and the LCAs will come out of the k-frame with the diagonal struts.
