SS springs (playing with ride height)

Hello everyone. I have a set of offset shackles and am going to get some of those super stock mopar springs. Thing is, I like my hind end to sit low - so the tire is up inside the wheel well. I'm just curious, but would it be possible to fit a shim type thing in between the axle spring perch and spring, to lower the car back down? In effect this would raise the axle higher - resulting in lowering the body. This is the only thing I can think off, but was wondering if it is possible before I have someone do this for me (I don't weld). the cars I see with SS springs sit to high for me - I like the way this car sits (attached below) It has 275 60's with Hemi springs. Mine will have same tires but unfortunately the use of SS springs will make it ride higher.

Any advise, tips or techniques would be greatly appreciate. I will post some pics of my car once the engine is in. I'm soooooooo excited. :D

Should not have to weld anything. most autopart stores sell lowering blocks
with extended u-bolts that will do exactly what your looking for. should come in 1,2 or 3 inch options. used them before to lower a mazda pick up

Getting the springs de-arched is another option. It don't cost much either. Any place that repairs leaf springs should be able to do it for you.
