Anyone ever change the pulley on a Power Steering pump? Anything I should know? - Thanks

Yes.
It is a ••••••• of a job and you have to be very careful not to damage the bearing. I could not get my stock pulley off dispite days of trying. I ended up cutting it off.

Well, because of the steering problem a couple of months ago I had to change the steering pump. I could get one from a V6 but that one had another pulley then the V8 so I had to change these pulleys. If you're lucky it will come off quit easy. But not always. I could get one of very easy and the other very hard. I had to use an airhammer and the pulleytool? and a lot of patience to get it of. If it won't come of try to use an airhammer while pulling the pulley with that pulley?tool?. I wish you luck and hope it turns out good.
