Pitman Arm Difference from 70-72 to 73

While putting a rebuilt engine in my 72 Challenger it became apparent that the pitman arm (power steering) needs to be replaced. As I checked around for a new one I realized that there are two kinds - one for 70 - 72 cars and one for 73-74. The later one is a lot less expensive and appears to be slightly different in dimensions. I have not been able to determine the exact difference. My pump is off of a '71 originally. I have a 72 pump and arm in storage from a Coronet (I think that should work) but have not checked the condition yet. Does anyone know the difference between the earlier and late arm and whether the later one will work on a 72?

I also asked Year One about this. Per Year One, turns out the 1973-newer pitman shaft spline is about 1/8 inch larger than the 1972-older. Therefore I would need the 73 and later box to use the 73 and later arm.
