The Dodge Challenger Message Board

Can somebody tell me what the function is of the nut that's located at the top of the power steering gearbox. Is it a nut which I can use to adjust how easy or hard the power steering works ?

Last week I ordered a new steering pump. At least I thought I ordered it, they thougt I just wanted to know the price...damned... So I gonna try some other things first. Have to do something...isn't it.
