Lower Control Arm

I hesitated in what thread to post this one (parts wanted?), but think right here is fine:

Whilst mounting my PST Polygraphite front end kit it appeared that my driver side Lower Control Arm (LCA) was torn. Not weldable, @!#$!*. Jim’s autoparts sells UCA’s, but no LCA’s (for Challengers). Could anyone answer the following questions...:
Does anybody have a huge pile of spare NOS LCA’s he is not able to get rid of…? Guess not, so:
Do all E-body’s have the same LCA’s? (considering Dodge/Plymouth, year, engine, option package)
Does any other Mopar have the same LCA’s?
I hope anyone has some answers.

The infomation I have is that A-body LCAs are 13.5 inches long and all the B and E-bodies are 12.25" long. So it looks like any B or E LCA will do.

Those measurements BTW are from between the centers of rotation of both the t-bar and the lower ball joint and not the overall length. I use these measurements to work out spring rate on my maths spreadsheet.

It is also a good idea to check if the donor car has a sway bar or not.
I think any 1970-1972 Barracuda, Charger, Satellite, ... will do.

That's a good point Christer. You will need one with the little bracket for the sway bar.

Thank you Dave and Christer. I found one in the Netherlands, but it is a 'swaybarbracketless' LCA, whereas my Chally has a swaybar. It is from a 1973 Challenger. The LCA's are said to have been the same throughout all years of production. My plan is to use the bracket of my original LCA on the replacement. If all goes well I will have it Tomorow.
