Mine is gone.
Where can I get a replacement or can I simply make an 8g with rings and use that?

I made an 8g ground strap and ran it from the rear header bolt to the lower bolt of the voltage regulator on the firewall.
I'm still having the "pulsating lights" when the car is idling. I've checked the output of the alternator (13.8v) and at the battery (13.8v) so I don't think they are culprits.
Could it be the regulator?
Note: when you rev the engine, the pulsating goes away and the lamps/lights shine normally.

Mechanical voltage reg and not electronic?
Check the output of the regulator at tickover, check the ground to the firewall is good
The way those mech types work I think you'll find its normal.

What is your idle rpm?

Electronic Voltage Regulator.
RPM at idle 1000-1200
Lights "pulse" unless you rev above 1800.

One more thing.
I added a new secure ground-
8g cable that runs from the lower voltage regulator bolt to the rear bolt on the head.

Check the output on the VR then Chuck it ought to be giving out around 14.5-15 volts.
If you got a big Chilton manual there's a really easy test for it.
Make sure that the reg is properly ground against the firewall, not the motor.
If there's a bad connection at the bulkhead connector block that'll do it, try running a jumper wire from the positive batt post to the headlamp direct and see what happens
