I've been looking at the smallblock version of those myself. I'm guessing they're a Chinese knockoff. Wonder if the HEI module is any good and if it can be replaced if it's junk. Was thinking of picking one up because if it's junk I'm only out $55 US
If it's a decent unit I may pick up another SB unit and use it on my 354 Hemi (with a Hot Heads adapter) when I get around to building it.

Just looking at the photos it looks pretty well made.

It is easy to use a HEI module with any existing electronic distributor anyway. But at that price you may as well buy the whole distributor. I think I paid nealy that much just for the HEI module I bought.

Stay away from them! We had a smallblock phord in school that the owner had a Pro-Comp billet dizzy. It wouldnt hold a steady timing pattern no matter what you did to it. The spark scattter was awful, the advance mechanism would not work or was overtimed,,,every time we placed a light on it it would have a different pattern! He kept at it and finnaly thew it away for a MSD unit. They are JUNK It's not worth losing an engine over.(detonation)

Thanks for the heads up! I was looking at a Petoniks unit (Ignitor) and nearly jumped on one of these because they seemed like a great deal.
Guess it's worth paying extra when it works!!

Just get a mopar or MSD distributor and use your own HEI module. They work great like that. Costs $25 for a good high spec module and works much better than the mopar unit.
