does a higher amp alt help

can any one tell me if a 60 anp alt. help the lighting at night or not. i am allready going over every light bulb and the conections! thanks in advance dix...

No.

Not unless there is something wrong with your existing alt. or it is rated really low and you have lots of electrical equipment all on at the same time (Heater fan, electric radiator fan, big stereo system etc.).

There are topic here that relate to enhancing the lighting on our older cars. Seems new age lamps, along with headlight relays were discussed. Read on and ask questions, these guys know Challengers.
