The fuses are fine, the power is getting to the dash because I have lights, and I checked most all wires with a multitestor.
Jimiboy, worked through that problem last year. I actually made a spacer to take care of the problem, pressed it into the hole on the shifter assy, so theres no slop now. You could probably do it with a couple of sanded washers pretty easy if you still have issues with it.
Redraven, I rekeyed my lock cylinders to my ignition key so it all functions on one key.
Thanks for the tips, guys, always good to backstop decisions with knowledgeable chally people!
Definitely no power coming out of the ignition cylinder. I chased connections and such for a good 3 hours today making sure, because I just put in my rallye dash. I've had problems getting power through before, and I've had to wiggle the key for a while, so I figure its time for a new cylinder. I pulled the steering wheel off, but I dont have a puller to get the washer out under the nut in the collapsible section. I assume this is the way to get the cylinder out. If not, somebody let me know, lol.
