That is the same distributor I was thinking of getting.

The thing to watch out for is the type of connection on the cap. This one has male HEI type connectors on the cap. So you need ignition wires to suit such as MSD-32739.

Any of the MSD ignition boxes will do. They have more features the further up the price range you go.

I personally will be going for the MSD-6520 Digital-6 Plus version because I want two rev limiters. One for the burnout (linked to the line-lock switch) and one for running up the track etc.

Don't forget you can also get "ready to run" distributors from MSD such as MSD-8387 that have everything built in. No need for a seperate ignition box and they are a direct replacement for the stock distributor.

It is a million times better than a points type distributor that's for sure. :D

I have never even seen one of these "ready to run" types let alone tried one. So I have no idea how good they are. They certainly will not have all the features of the bigger systems. But do you need those other features?
