Okay well prior to today, my headlights worked perfectly, my left hand turn signal worked, but my right side would simply go solid. A while ago I tried replacing the bulb in the front right, but that didn't fix my turn signal problem. So today I went and replaced all my rear bulbs in the tail lights, hoping that my turn signal would then work correctly. Still didn't work, and I forgot to mention that in my instrument panel, the right arrow goes on very dim when I turn on my lights. When I turn the right turn signal on, it goes bright as it should and stays solid. So I decided to change out my bulbs in the instrument panel for the turn signals. Did that, and now I don't see that dim light on the right arrow when the lights are on, but my headlights don't come on at all anymore!!! I have no clue what happened, my high beams don't work either and the red light doesn't come on when I turn on high beams. They used to work perfectly, and the high beams as well. This car used to be my daily driver.. and now its unable to be used at night obviously :( I forgot to mention, its a 318 1970 Challenger. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!!

I have had some similar problems, have you tried checking the grounds? that can throw off your electrical. also try changing your turn signal switch, that could be a reason why the signals weren't working. other than that i can't really say much.

There was nothing wrong with your bulbs. They don't go dim when faulty. They just go off and you can see the filiment has broken.

Your problem is bad connections and in particular bad earth connections. Maybe a flasher unit is faulty but probably bad connections on that as well.

I actually have to run a seperate ground wire from the front turn signal lamp holders to the bodywork behind the front valence to get my turn signals to work correctly every time. These cars are OLD and corrosion gets into all the connections.
