Headlight upgrade

Postby spitfire9137 » 23 Sep 2005 23:19

Just finished upgrading my headlights to the ones pictured below. I ran new wires to them and used 2 relays, one for high beam and one for low to power them. Had to cut the hole in the headlight bucket bigger to fit them and had to cut two notches in them for the little hole you see in the top of them in the picture and one on the bottom for the parking light. Much better than the old sealed beams that were on them, and a pretty easy upgrade. I found these on ebay listed as challenger head lights, the guy has many of them available if any of you would like to do it. Ill post pictures of them installed sometime tomorrow.

I'm interested in seeing the installed lights.

I bought some linght that 2 years, ago, and haven't installed them yet. However, I think they will mount only in the innermost location (high beam), because the outermost headlight bucket (low beam) is probably not deep enough.
