electric system problem

Postby Wojpi » 08 Jul 2005 4:53

Does anybody know if after removing dash pad (all the switches and gauges are disconected) it is normal that car electric system does not work. I have finished yesterday removing my dash pad (and it was late night) and what was my suprise after that none electrical thing was working, even a single light/ I must write that i have unplugged the power cable during disconetcting so i could not make and fuses go down. I still have to drive my car in and out my garage so i would like to get back to working condition.
PS. Forgive me if I missed somewhere similar topic on this forum

All the electrical power from the alternator goes through the ammeter gauge. So if you have disconnected that nothing will work.
