All I can say is that there isn´t much written in Paul Herd´s books about this. :( Any better sources out there?

Thanks insuranceguy, I already bought one off ebay. I plugged it in, i also had to find a speaker crossover, and my wires were cutrunning to my radio so I just put ends on them and plugged them into the correct color. I assuming i plugged it all in correct, but even with the volume all the way up, i can barely hear it and it sounds like it is only coming from on speaker. My car only has 3 front speakers, no rear speakers ethier. Dont know that is wrong with it.

R35 IS a thumbwheel at least for the 70 and 71 model years.(E body)
No sound, does your radio have the cassette cable out back. If so you MUST install the shorting plug in the cable other wise it will not work properly.( If you do have the wire but no plug, you can use a piece of wire, look in your service manual for the wiring layout) .If you don't have the cassette wire , just try hooking up the speakers without the cross over.
The cross over was there to prevent the 3 1/2" dash speakers from blowing out. If is still doesn't work, it time for a rebuild

I used the original crossover box that was screwed on through the left side outside of my glove box. This worked with the three speakers (all reconed) and the 1970 R35 radio..... the center speaker played the AM output and the side speakers played the FM stereo output from the radio.

I do not think it is correct for Challengers since it has a Chrysler tag on it. It might fit though.

I ebay messaged him asking for a photo of the bottom. According to Barry's site, the e-bodies are the only (?) one where the antenna lead fits into the bootom of the unit.
