73 for all, metal fenders, brand new bulbs, if i take a circut tester and hook up to neg on battery and put in the socket, it works fin, so its not grounding out, how are they supposed to ground?

I only see one, but hard to tell since previous owner sprayed undercoating up there.

I am not sure if they came with one wire or two. If only one they must ground through the metalwork. If so you need good clean metal between the signals and the fender. Also between the fender and the chassis.

yep- Dave is right- check for a good clean ground- some fender lights had a separate ground- but if I'm right- for the big boats!

I got them working, just needed some adjusting so they would touch the screw and ground, thanks
