The Dodge Challenger Message Board

hi i have a question about the dome light in my 71 challenger. it wont go off! i dont have a bulb in it right now because it will stay lit no matter what. is it the dimmer switch or the door things how do i test and if it is the dimmer switch does any body know who sells them?

It is most likely one of your door switches or the wires going to them. Sounds like you have a short somewhere.
If it is something up with the dimmer switch just take it out and clean it up. In the rare cases where you would need to replace it you would have to find a used one.
