Minor Electrical problems

Postby Gerrad Friedline (Gmfried » 13 Apr 2002 0:02

I have a 1970 Challenger coupe,
When I pull the hazard lights tab, sometimes only one blinker arrow lights up in the dash, but the lights are flashing all teh way around outside anyway. Also with the 4-ways, my drivers inner flasher bulb does not burn for 4-ways, but lights up fine when left signal is turned on.
also, sometimes(if pushed right) my horn does not blow, is this normal, do I have to tear it appart and clean it or what?

Electrical problems like this are very hard to diagnose from afar. You most likely either have bad connections/grounds or a bad connection in the very poor chrysler column switch.

I just went through this guys.Change the cam switch in the column. Their are a lot of contacts that get old or the plastic inside just wears.
