I used 80W-90 Pennzoil in my 3.55 Sure Grip. Is that what you're asking? Havn't run it yet though but its specified for most passenger car LSD applications

Yes you need a 90 weight and either a type specified for LSD units OR you can buy a LSD additive you can add to straight 90 weight oil.

I saw it on a tee-shirt in the 70s and it took me a while to get it then.

Don't know why it suddenly came back to me when I saw Eddies post. My brain has been remembering some funny things lately.

Its been around since the 70's eh? Our Sergeant instructor who was a born joker, came in one day when half of us were asleep at our desks and said nothing. All he did was write that on the white board and walk out again, leaving us to digest it.

He was great, he didn't have much faith in his own teaching ability so just before exams he used to give us what he called "guided revision" with a wink. We all passed the exams with flying colours and he looked good to his superiors as well.
