The flywheel should be able to be used. Hopefully its a factory manual? Then it will have the proper factory balanced flywheel that is for the externally balanced 360. Hard to get down here. I had an A230 (the 3 speed you have) and i am pretty sure the bellhouse is the same as the A833 4 speed. Even the drive shafts are the same as the extension housing is the same length and uses the 4 speed/727 yoke.

the A230 gearbox was pretty strong. They specified it for use behind the 383 as well so its got my respect. Pity it only had 3 speeds....!

I'd imagine they wouldn't be thick on the ground where you are... Rather scarce down here too, very heavy, so shipping costs would not be nice. I'd recommend Passon Performance (if you got the dough). They can ship you a fully rebuilt aluminium case one with lots of nice mods and tweaks. 4speeds and associated items is all they do, they know their stuff.

do a Google for Passon Performance, they are in Pennsylvania

I love it when Red Raven posts - i can't stop looking at that "short movie" on the left hand side. Does it have an ending?

Anyway, i forgot about Brewers, they would have everything, but i think its all iron stuff? Passon performance have rebuilt and re-engineered many parts for the A833 for strength and light weight. Big bucks though for a complete alloy box, although they do sell kits.
