How to do the burnouts?

Hello.
As you know I broke the hughes 727, probably making the burn out or probably due the high torque of the new engine.
Now i have installed a new 727 from Frank Lupo's advised for John Arruzza, my engine builder.
I'm not sure about the way to make the burn out correctly, each one have his own receipt.
I've installed the roll brake system to make it easier and I think, once connected, the best way is insert the first gear with the roll brake on, push the gas at medium throttle until 3000-4000 rpm. Once the smoke is visible (3-4 seconds with MT et street radials) release the brake and let the car go stright few meters until it is almost stopped itself. All in first gear.
What do you think about it?
Thanks.
