Do all Dana 60 Track Pak equipped 1970-1971 Challengers have power disc brakes or do they have manual disc brakes, or drum brakes. I have read that the A32 and A34 packages have power discs, and that the A33 Track Pak does not. Anyone know for sure? The reason I need to know is the 70 R/T I am buying has the 4:10 Dana, but it does not have power disc brakes and I think it should. Am I right?

You don't say which axle package this car actually is supposed to heave?

A32 you could have 4:10 gears in a Sure Grip 8.75 or Dana axle. Power brakes or discs were not part of this package.

A33 you had to have with manual transmission on 440 and 426 cars but it only gave you 3.54:1 gears. Again, power brakes or discs were not part of this package.

A34 you got 4.10:1 gears AND power front discs.

So if the car has the A32 option then drum brakes are probably correct.

If you use the dealership data book and salesman books on Barrys Hamtramck-Historical page, the A32 does come with power ft disc brakes, this car is a Torqueflite car with a 4:10 Dana, however, I noticed on the dash panel it looks like a reverse warning light next to the ashtray, which makes me think this car may have been a 4 speed car at one time, therefore the A34 could be correct, but in any case, power discs would be part of the package. I do not not know what axle package this car was supposed to have, I only know what is in it now. It could have had the A33, which is a 3:54 Dana, that package did not have power discs.

You are right. The dealership book (my own copy printed on this message board) does list A32 as coming with power disc brakes.

But without a build sheet it could have come with anything.
I can't remember if A32 showed on the tag or not if the car had it?? :?
